User Data Deletion
This page explains how Rankwise handles data associated with its Meta / Instagram application and how you can request deletion of any data tied to your interaction with Rankwise.
Rankwise is a sole proprietorship registered in British Columbia, Canada, operated by Zack Shefrin. We provide local SEO and Google Business Profile management services exclusively for HVAC contractors in the Lower Mainland and Metro Vancouver area.
1. What our Meta / Instagram app accesses
Rankwise's Meta / Instagram application accesses only Rankwise's own business Instagram account (@rankwise.ca). We use this access for two purposes:
- Content publishing — scheduling and posting Rankwise's own brand content to our own account.
- Performance analytics — reading insights and metrics for our own posts and account.
Rankwise's app does not collect, store, or process personal data belonging to third-party Instagram users. We do not access other people's accounts, followers, messages, or profile information, and we do not import or retain data about anyone other than our own business account.
2. How to request deletion of your data
Because our Meta / Instagram app only touches Rankwise's own account, there is normally no third-party user data for us to delete. If you have interacted with Rankwise in some other way and want any data associated with that interaction removed, you can request deletion at any time.
To make a request, email zshef@rankwise.ca with the subject line "Data deletion request". Please include enough detail for us to identify the data (for example, the email address or business name you used). Rankwise will action your request and confirm completion within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.
